1. Develop and implement comprehensive production planning and inventory control strategies to meet customer demand and optimise resource utilisation. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast and plan production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products. 3. Manage inventory levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods, to minimise excess and ensure availability. 4. Analyse production and inventory data to identify trends, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. 5. Implement and oversee inventory management systems, procedures and controls to maintain accurate records and optimise stock levels. 6. Lead a team of production planning and inventory control professionals, providing guidance, mentorship and performance management. 7. Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products. 8. Continuously monitor and improve production and inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
Capability :
1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field. 2. Minimum 10 years of experience in a PPIC or production management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry. 3. Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain management principles and best practices. 4. Proficiency in utilising ERP systems and data analysis tools to optimise production and inventory management. 5. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and strategic planning skills. 6. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 7. Leadership skills to manage and develop a team of PPIC professional.
